tv tuner support (1 Viewer)

I seem to have trouble getting MediaPortal recognizing any of my tuners - a hauppauge 1800 and hd-pvr. When I go the television section under configuration and try to add a tuner, it tells me that "no capture card(s) were found...." Did I miss a step?

Does the card work with other tv software (like dvbviewer). does a bda driver exist for your card and if so have you install it?

I don't know about DVBviewer, but I have tried the card on 7MC and it works fine. I think there is no bda driver for my card (Support for the WinTV-HVR-1800) but I'm not sure either way
