Hi All,
I have a serious problem with MyTV with lastests SVN (about in the last two week's SVN). The image of TV is squared and there is no audio. I've tried with all drivers of Hauppauge and NVidia but with no success, then I'm back to the version (about the end of November) that works fine. Is this a known problem? In the logs there is no errors and/or warnings, then it seems a codec/DirectShow problem...

For SVN installation I uninstall all MP, delete the folder, etc, then install base version (0.2.0.0) then I update all with lastest SVN.

Help me, PLEASE!!!

Thanks a lot,
Dado

Workaround and possible BUG in TVTuner settings

Hi,
I've found my problem: on the TV capture card configuration (of Hauppauge board) there is the possibility of force quality to use, so if I set to use a specific quality, the video is squared, pixeled and there is no audio. If I set all qualities to 1000-2000 (is an example) and NOT force to use a specific quality all works fine :) .

I don't know if there is a bug in that section of configuration, but until about two weeks ago (SVNs) all worked correctly (I have always used a specific quality flag...).

Thanks Dado!

Have a PVR-350 also with this problem..
(Upgraded 2.1 to 2.2, normal install with uninstall of 2.1 first)

For me it happens when i have had a DVD playing, and return to the TV (Nvidia purevideo decoder for both DVD and TV).

I will try set all quality settings as you decribed and uncheck Quality control.

First thought it was ChrisTWEAK that did something, have to use that to get the brightness down. Then remembered i had upgraded so i uninstalled everything and did a clean 2.2 install, same problem so it is something with the new 2.2 version.

Duke

Hey guys, that's my bad. I've been trying to get quality control to work for everyone. It seems as if Hauppauge cards don't all report the same. I'll change it back to the way it was, but if you could run the test in the thread "Calling all hauppauge owners", I would appreciate it, and it might help you out in the future.
