I decided to try Media portal and decided that i liked it, except for my tv tuner not being recognized. I searched all over the place but have not found a definite answer whether or not the card can work with media portal. I came across this post that seemed to make some progress then stalled:

Hi,

This was my first TV card, and it was a huge mistake. The drivers stink. If it isn't too late return it and spend a couple extra bucks on a hauppauge card.

yeah it is, ive had this card for a couple years now. I would upgrade, but unfortunatly i dont have a job right now, so I have to work with what I have, lol
