    I do have sound on those channels if I start them 'fresh' from the EPG. However, if I rather zap between them the sound does go missing in some cases...

    If you are using MP 1.2.2, then you should also use the 'fixed' TsReader.ax -> here <- (the bug it fixes is 'loss of sound on channel changes')

    for missing sounds u need the 'LAV audio decoder' .. as it does aac audio.
    monogram and divx aac audio codecs doesnt seem to produce any sound.

    buuuut..u need a certain version of lav filters as some of the older ones didnt work.

    this one worked for me:
    http://dl.dropbox.com/u/10536084/mp/David/2012.01.08_bin_Win32.rar

    unpack the files to any DIR.. then run from the commandprompt on each of the .ax files;
    regsvr32 xyz.ax

    the problem is that Dr1/Dr2 changed from mpeg2/mpeg1layer2 audio to h264/aac overnight.
    one benefit is now that recordings don't consume so much disk space and video quality probably better albeit same resolution.

    I've installed divx and changed the LATM ACC audio decoder in the configuration. It works fine here.
    Both audio and channelswitching works (without the channelswitching patch).
    Maybe you need to upgrade your divX?

    Just upgraded my CCCP to the newest and used it's LAV decoder for LATM ACC. This works fine as vel.
