Hi all,
I have set up my htpc from DVB-T to analog cable TV finally but i encounter some issues.
With the mpeg2 codecs it was no Problem to find and install the software card and search all channels.
I can also watch TV in Mediaportal (built in TV engine) but 1 in 3 times the sound and video are not in sync, its a difference of about 1s.
Also if i watch TV for about 15-20mins it suddenly stops for a moment (about 5s) and then tells me "no signal" which is strange cause its analog cable and my TV has a pefect performance when the cable is used directly.
The 5s isnt constantly stopping all TV neither, sometimes only the Video freezes and the sound goes on for about 10 mins before it also stops.
I tried all combinations of Intervideo and Cyberlink Audio and Video decoders in the Preferences and also lowered the Decoder Quality totally in the configuation.
I tried to use TV server before but it was even worse there, like 5s out of sync.
The same card runs perfectly with its delivered TV program. I know it doesnt mean much, just to exclude hardware damage.
Any help or tip is appreciated.
