However, I would like to try out the TVengine. I went to the installation guide and found out that other than needing to install the Server and Client, I also need to install MySQL 5 and other stuff. Are all those actually strictly required or can I do away with some of them? (For my case, I just want the new features like integrating as a window service and mpeg recording.
