I have spent the past few hours building a couple of test system, both single seat and multiseat configurations and testing various SVN releases.

The following is from my point of view, I guess they are other using current SVN's with out issues, would like to know of any - might helps in finding the problems.

The current SVN is a broken as it could be and has been since 16622, any SVN from that point is unusable. This also means other fixes that have gone in to other areas of MP since this point are unavaiable to me, well unless I want to stop watching TV anyway.

SVN 16627 had these changes

tvplugin 13/12/2007 [22:04:24] gibman added: audio auto selection algo rewritten. new setting introduced 'prefer audiotype over language.' rec. tv and live tv both use this new algo.
mediaportal/tvplugin 13/12/2007 [22:04:29] gibman added: recorded tv now supports audio auto selection as well as manuel selection. (plz update mp as well)
tvplugin 13/12/2007 [22:04:35] gibman added: removed settings from plugin section - television-tv client is the future place for all client related settings.

This is the point it all went tits up and has stayed that way ever since.

I have spent a few hrs going through SVNs around this point and these changes seem to be it, I thought it may have been some combination of cards/codecs my end but after building very basic system with only one DVB-T or DVB-S cards I get the same problems, this is regardless of codecs installed.

I could post another set of logs but having done that a few times and they say nothing different each time that is probably a tad pointless...the same set on lines appear in each.

The above from a client/server test.

So my question is do any of the Devs aknowldge there is and has been be problem for a while or are you all working fine with no issues?

Trevor
