I have timeout problems when changing channels.. Let see if you can see something on the logs that I posted yesterday

Channel change between EinsExtra and EinsFastival dont work (in both directions). At a change from MDR Sachsen to ARD (Das Erste) I had a picture freeze, but MP did not crash, I was able to change to another channel. Mostly the same channel changes have problems. Changing from ZDF to EinsFestival works without any problems.

Since tuesday i have disabled EPG grabbing and didnt try it again.

The TV server is not working at all for me. I hve two analog cards (Hauppage PVR 150MCE & AverMedia PVR 150MCE).
All is configured by instructions from the wiki (I've done it several times before. I'm sure the configuration is 100% o.k.). When I start timeshift in the TVserver configurations "Manual Control" I only get a "Unexpected Error Occured" message, from both cards. Obviously the same thing happens when starting TV from MP itself ("Unable to start timeshifting. Unexpected Error Occured"). I did a clean Windows XP pro installation (I was using the TVengine2 before) and the problem started directly with the inital installation (Snapshot: 02-06-2008 17-29h Revision 17324). This build did not make a difference.

Ican't find any log files in the TVserver directory and there are no errors in the /MediaPortal/Logs/error.log file.

Is there anything I can do to help fixing this bug? I can go back to TVengine2, but I'm curious about the progress that has been made with the TVserver the past 3 months

Streaming internet radio thrue the TVserver is working perfectly by the way (what a great feature that is, fantastic!)

I have this problem for at least 5 or 6 SVNs:

- Channel changing works great if I use the miniepg or the epg
- If I change channel using channel number (index number in favorite list), often the OSD comes up, then disappears but no channel change occours at all.

Will try to reproduce logs and post them tonight...

Bram,

We really need to see all your logs to make any kind of meaningful decision about why this happening. Please look at the thread at the top of the forum about starting a support thread for information about the MediaPortal Test Tool etc. The log you posted only gives a part of the picture.
