TVservice.exe crashing

Hi, with this build, and about the last 5 or 6, the TV service just crashes whilst watching live TV, picture frezzes, when I crash out MP I can see that the TVservice has dissapeared from the running Processes. I ran the test tool with MP untill it crashed. Really enoying bug, the worst one in a while. Logs attached.

Kind regards,
Kev.

Seems to be working fine for me, only some trouble when recording on one card and trying to change channels on the other. I have two firedtv-c cards. Havent really exactly pinpointed what and when, but I will report when I know more.

At least the channel change problems are gone, and I have had no crashes whatsoever (Vista x86).

    Hi,
metropolis & realmatrix, does any of you use webepg(or another xmltv importer) together with EPG from dvb-x?
I had crashes like this & that disappeared when i disabled xmltv plugin...

If that desn't help use only grab when idle....

    Regards
    Roy

still high band issues with Hauppauge NOVA

I have seen that there was work done arround NOVA DBV-S cards - so I take the opportunity to refresh the issue.
Since many releases I have the problem, that TVServer needs to be restarted several times before it starts up in a mode that can tune high band channels.
Here my tests (logs TVS logs - N24 not working (high band).zip):
    A)
start TVService, start TV Server managemant console, go to TV channels:
    1. 10:55:30 select channel DWTV (low band), see it works
    2. 10:55:41 select channel N24 (high band - Pro7/SAT1 group), no video/no audio
    3. 10:57:59select channel N24 again - and now the trick, while TVServer waits for signal:
    - 10:58:08 in a parallel opened Transedit application: scan transponder Pro7/SAT1
    - viola: TV server manager preview pops up and shows N24 !!!
    4. 10:59:04 select channel N24 , no video/no audio

Now several restarts of TVService and testing N24 after each restart.
    B)
After about 5 restarts (logs TVS logs - N24 working.zip):
    1. 11:25:14 select channel N24 (high band - Pro7/SAT1 group), works.
    2. 11:25:46 select channel N24 (high band - Pro7/SAT1 group), works.

    I should mention that:
In the situation A) ALL high band channel cannot be tuned (N24 just a sample).
In situation B) receiving all TV channels will work until next restart of TVService.
My second TV card (U6000 USB device) in the same PC works allways with high band channels.
Another Hauppauge card (NOVA-S2) has exactly the same problem in another PC.
Transedit can allways scan&preview high band channels with the NOVA card.

Current Hauppauge drivers: 2.121.25351.0 (same issue with older drivers)
See also my old thread https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/get-support-90/high-band-does-not-always-work-32004/

The above mentioned crash happend here also - I am sure you fix it.
Thanks for all your hard work. TVS is slowly mooving to a really good product.

TV does not start on some channels

This build works better for me then some earlier.

However I still have some strange things going on:

When I start mediaportal with SF2 (via Floppy DTV-S scrambled, different languages, good quality) I never get a picture in Mediaportal. In the control-application of the server everthing looks normal, as when it would have been started. Also the server-logs look normal to me.

I then close mediaportal and start again. This time with another channel also on Satellit: SFi (not scrambled, lower quality) and the channel appears very fast. I can the also tune with channel down to SF2 that dit not work before.

    I attach the logs
