I still have the problem, that the TV guide is really slow.

Here's a special build !only for testing MSSQL server!
Please put that into your MediaPortal dir, open the TV-Guide (not mini-epg), scroll a little.
Does it make any difference in terms of performance?

Please post the log to MediaPortal Pastebin - collaborative debugging tool after that test :D

Actually it didn't make a difference. it still feels like it takes forever to load the tv guide. and btw - it never used to do that in older (1 month or so) builds. I uploaded the logs, hope it helps!

Yes same here but i don't think epg was working for me but it did load real fast about 1 month ago builds. epg still doesnt work for me but it still does take some time to open it.

Same problem. ieframe.dll won't register. Also with build 17699.

As you might have read in the other thread this error is safe to ignore.
However this should be fixed in current builds.

installing the bda fix and the latest windows updates solved the channel scanning problem.
but 2 fixes are not available for german windows versions (avi fix, vmr9 fix).

    the requirements are all installed.

but there is another problem. i have no sound and freezing picture only on eurosport 2. i will post the logs in the evening, because now im working.
