The same MS-SQL databsae corruption caused by tvserver at startup .Happening since svn17601

The service at start uses all cpu power and leaks memory up to about 500,000k (normal uses about 60,000K).

DW20.exe catches the debug for MS and the service is terminated.

Logs attached should have caught all details.

I have to delete the database to get normal running of tvservice.

    - Registering issue with ieframe.dll is fixed. (Thanks)
    - After database config of tv3 is done; The TVService is now correctly set to "Autostart". (Many thanks)
    - After re-install TV3 plugin. The MP Config -> Television Settings, the "Default zoom mode" remember last setting.

    Known bugs:
    ===================
    Severity: usability
    Priority: Low
Modules: TV3 Plugin and MP Config.
Description: After re-install TV3 plugin. MP Config -> Television -> TV Client -> Preferred audio/subtitles languages reset. The user need to re-setup their preferred audio and subtiles languages.
Workaround: None. Anyway, everyone should re-check TV Client setting after installing the plugin.

That's pretty odd as it would indicate that something is deleting the Mediaportal.xml. Plugin install itself shouldn't do that.

@ tourettes: Agree. Something is wrong with my MP installation at my HTPC. I'm unable to re-produce the bug with my and my daughter's computers. The bug introduced for my HTPC since rev. 17666 and I should do more proper tests before reporting it. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Another odd bug that causes the TVSERVICE to become unresponsive.

If you change the recording folder in setuptv for any tuner and then exit that setuptv page or setuptv itself then there is an odd crash.

From the logs it looks like the code tries to shutdown and decompose the tuners but fails on most occasions.

In Xp and w2k the service becomes unresponsive requiring a reboot but in vista32 (which handles services a little diferently) the service just closes/stop and needs restarting.
