You can import an old export.xml if you don't use DVB-S2. hirscho found a way:

I just analyzed the old and the new format of the export.xml. The differences are just two new parameters at the end of the <TuningDetails> definition. So I took an ascii editor and just replaced "Band="0"/>" by "Band="0" "Pilot="-1" RollOff="-1" />" for the complete file. For me it worked quite well and I could import the channel list.

Something similar will be probably be possible the next time the DB structure changes as well, so do an export before installing an svn

Should be:
Band="0" Pilot="-1" RollOff="-1"

Works excellent for me.
