we had a server change 2 days ago with new IP, looks like some DNS-Server update veeery slowly. Thats the reason why it works for some and some not. Ive moved the new builds manually to the old server so it should work for both.

PS: new server IP starts with 91., old one with 84. so if you ping the url you can see if its already updated for you.

The ttl of the dns RR should normally be set to 24 hours?
Then it should work after 24 hours.

TVservice.exe hang during Service stop

Hey,

I recognized this behaviour for a lot of SVN's. It mostly occured after a longer period of running TVservice and MediaPortal (watching TV). The last line in the TV.log is than always "free pins..." !
Now I can reproduce it very quickly !

The attached log's shows this result.

Procedure to reproduce:

1. Start MediaPortal (my setting: show last active module after resume )
2. Goto TV
3. Goto Fullscreen
4. (I tuned previously to (Pro Sieben HD - German HD television free to air channel)
5. Close MediaPortal ( ALT + F4 )
6. Stop TVservice & MediaPortal ( perhaps killing the proccesses in the task-manager required )
7. Delete all old log
8. Start TVservice
9. Start MediaPortal (my setting: show last active module after resume )
10. TV will be activated
11. Goto FullScreen
12. Switch to a non HD TV channel by using MiniEPG ( Left mouse button double click)
13. MP stops responging !!! (Wait cursor is shown, but nothing else )
14. Close MediaPortal ( ALT + F4 )
MP window is closed, but MediaPortal.exe stays in the task list & also generates log entries (External display)
BUT Now changes are made to the external display ( I will post this in the MP SVN bransh too)
15. Stop MediaPortal ( perhaps killing the proccesses in the task-manager required )

Any idea, what's going wrong on my system?

please wait for the next public build. builds > 16265 should contain the correct fix. otherwise please report again. note that you will need to update _both_, MP AND TVServer to a build >16265 for the fix to work.

edit: after reading your logfiles, i'm not sure if you are having the same issue that has been fixed. please report again anyway, if it is still in the next build.
