that's strange, the host of those streams have a connection the foreign countries.
Both mtv and tmf aren't working? that is a bit strange, so that means you can't watch the online streams in a country, other then the netherlands....hmmm..

does it work in your browser or media player?

For me also a lot of streams don't work because of my location, i know the mtv does really lock there streaming to the countries, Rico will probarly be able to watch the German MTV when the rest of us can't.
I dont understand tho that the public channels like 101 tv, holland doc etc, trow up this fence, when uitzendinggemist is working without any problems.

Rico:back when i lived in the Netherlands i did some research to get hulu and MTV USA working, you could also use this method to change your IP on certain URL's into a dutch one https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/...bassed-only-video-works-mtv-video-plug-51919/

To all users of the TVgemist plugin

In theory, our scripts should now check every hour if there are new episodes of tv shows that are being aired today, we are going to monitor this to see if it actuaaly works.

At this point we have 2.772 episodes listed in our DB

If you are missing tv shows, please tell us!

Yes, it's a litle puzzle but should be doable, you just need to find the URL that is blocked, like in the example i used "mtv.com" this should be changed in i quess "mtv.nl" and so on.

The exitnodes listed are all US based hubs, when you open Vidalia and select "View the Network" you can see a list of the hubs by country, so you would need to pick Dutch based hubs to end with instead.

It would be nice if the mediaportal users could share there IP's like this, i got a US one, You got a German one, others a Dutch one, so we could share our IP's to bypass this nonsence, wish i knew more about creating plugins

Database update

Today we added 2 shows to our database, there is no need to re-download our plugin!

SBS 6 > Hart van Nederland
RTL > LookingGood

is everuone so happy with the new plugin that there is nothing to improve??. The plugin still needs testing, so if there is something you miss or does not work please tell us!!

Dude, the plugin is awsesome, maybe you can consider to implement some other website (if you can make the scraper for it) Then the plugin will grow to a more meature feature (i know that some website can't be scraped)
Other small idea, put the live streams in genres, like music, sports, kids, tv broadcasts, regional tv etc. that gives the whole live tv, a better WAF. (and it's better skinnable hehe)
