When I try to build my own release of the TV-plugin (based on the same SVN as the public SVN-release), the following line gives me an error in Visual Studio:

Taken from TvFullScreen.cs

// set audio track based on user prefs.
int prefLangIdx = TVHome.GetPreferedAudioStreamIndex();

Is this releated to the tests? And how can I fix it (is it safe to just set prefLangIdx to "1").

that's strange i've compiled SVN yesterday and today and i don't get any error. Which error do you get?
