TvServer IP (1 Viewer)

TVServer was setup to the IP 10.0.0.7 assigned by DHCP. Now the IP was released, and I got a new 10.0.0.2, but the TvServer wouldent start, and I Can't change it with TvServer Config.

Is this a singleseat or multiseat setup, you can always set a singleseat to use 127.0.0.1 reboot required to get everything to update.

Or download SQL management express from here TV-Server/install-SQL-Management-Studio - MediaPortal Manual Documentation, login using sql authentication, not windows, this allows user "sa" password "MediaPortal" to be inserted.

Now expand the mptvdb and look for dbo.server, right click and select open, you should now see the name of the host, in your case the ip address, just change and close the management console, you will have to make sure sql and tvserver have identical "names" and point the MPconfig\Television\client to them .
