    I currently have this setup:

DISEQC MONOBLOCK (simple port a/b diseqc)
    LBN PORT A : HOTBIRD 13.0
    LBN PORT B: ASTRA 19.2

There is a bug with DISEQC management with this card in TVserver: Scan ONLY WORKS if in THE CHANNEL SCAN, THE FIRST SELECTED SATELLITE for scanning, is the one located IN PORT "A", and if after finished PORT "A" scan, scanning CONTINUES with SATELLITE IN PORT "B".

If you try SCANNING FIRST THE SATELLITE IN PORT "B" (or you try a single scan of satellite located in port "B"), CHANNEL SCANNING FAILS.

Same thing happens when you try to watch a channel, THERE IS A BUG in the diseqc management on the hauppauge hvr-4400 card, the weird behaviour is this one:

TVserver is unable to succesfully change LBN PORT B on FIRST TUNE, but you can tune successfully LBN PORT A.

After you tune a channel at LBN PORT A, then , you can successfully change to LBN PORT B and tune channels.

If you switch to DVB-T, and return back to Satellite, and try to tune a channel at LBN PORT B, TVserver IS UNABLE to successfully change to LBN PORT B, you need in first place tune a channel at LBN PORT A, and after this, tune a channel at LBN PORT B to successfully change to LNB PORT B

WINTV 7 (Software Bundled with Hauppauge) IS WORKING OK (switching between satellites works fine).
People in this forum are experiencing same problem.

I sent an email to hauppauge support, they reply and answered that hvr-4400 drivers are based in BDA, and that the drivers are working well with Mediacenter (I checked it and diseqc is working fine with Mediacenter and hvr-4400). They suggested to contact Mediaportal developers to try to solve this problem...
