Just found this thread :). In addition to MP clients, I also have a Raspberry Pi running OSMC with the MP PVR client. Given the TVServerKodi.dll was x86 only, I went back to the x86 version of MP TV Server. It's great we now have a x86/x64 version of this plugin, thank you, I will try it soon!

On GitHub, I see the plugin was created as a fork from the original TVServerXBMC code. On this page, you see there is another fork with the dll (v1.32.0.145) which I am currently using (with MP v1.34 x86). I was wondering, does the new "1.25.0.130" version include all the latest code / tweaks, as the changelog page show previous commits in December 2018? Like others have noted on the Kodi MediaPortal PVR forum, with OSMC a few months ago, I could not skip forward through recordings, which is why I tried that latest v1.32.0.145 dll. It did not fix my issue, so I ended up creating a mapping to the recordings folder and playing the files through the videos section. It's been a few months since I used the Pi with OSMC, so I'll try again after updating OSMC and and migrating MP TV Server to x64 with this latest plugin.

The only changes I see are: Updated Marcel Groothuis version of the plugin to now support Media Portal 2.5

I can't say anything about the functionality of this plugin, I don't use TV Part, but if there are any changes that can be simply transferred, then I can try.
But I can't give any guarantees.

ajs - after all your great help last year, I'm very sorry to have to prevail upon you once more for assistance. My Windows 11 installation went wrong, and I'm looking at reinstalling. Included in the problems is my Media Portal (1) setup. In preparation for reinstalling Windows, I wanted to verify that Media Portal still worked. However, it threw a database issue (could not connect) no matter whether I used SQL or Microsoft. I therefore tried Media Portal 2 - and to my surprise, it worked perfectly, with no requirement to mess around with databases (or at least, if databases are used, the installation process is seamless in the background). I managed to tune my TV channels with no problem.

The next step was to get the TV Server Kodi plugin working. I tried copying across the TvServerKodi.dll file as before, but that was not recognised in the TV Server configurator. Googling the problem brought me right back to this forum thread!

The problem though is that even though I saw my own message about having managed to get it working perfectly, I don;t really remember exacty what I did. I'm not familiar with GitHub. I just want to be able to download a simple dll file plugin to place in the MediaPortal TV Server Plugins directory. I see the page at Releases · Mediaportal-Plugin-Team/TVServerKodi - but it's not clear what I should click on. I guessed the file called TVServerKodi-v1.25.0.141.mpe1 - but the .mpe1 file extension is not recognised in Windows.

I feel foolish because I already solved this problem last year - but for some reason I can't quite retrace my steps! Please could you assist? Also - can you please confirm that your plugin works with Media Portal 2 in the first place?

@EuroSong I don't use MP2, it's not convenient for me, but I know one thing for sure, no plugin for MP1 will work in MP2, but TvServerKodi is a plugin for TV Server 3, so it will work with TV Server 3. MPE1 is an installation package for MP1, and it is installed simply through the package manager. How to do this in MP2 I don't know, but judging by the activity, MP2 is currently more dead than alive.

    TV Server 3? What’s that?
I guess I will have to troubleshoot the MP1 database issues…

    Thanks
