TvService problem (1 Viewer)

Using a TechnoTrend 1501 budget dvb-c tv card on vista 64 bit. Its working perfect with the bundled software but when i try to start the tv server config i get an error TV service is not started. start it? yes / no
I click yes to start it but after a few seconds i get the error: tvservice could not be started.

the strange part is that if I check the running services Tvservice IS running and i can start and stop it without problems. I've also tried to reintall mediaportal and tvserver but with same result.

really strange part is that the service have worked without problems erlier today but then i couldn't find any channels when scanning. Then i put the tv card into another pci slot and suddenly the software that was bundled with the tvcard find all channels but the tvservice starts to act up

help!!

Everytime you move a bit of hardware, windows supplies a new physical address, so the sql database is now foobar, unless you manually want to try editing it, it easier to uninstall TVServer + plugin and when it pops up with the message delete database, chose yes, then reinstall and start again.

already did that - meny times. Still nogo.

I tried to uninstall the vmc tvpack as suggested in that tread but that didn't help anything.
