TVtuner "Unable to create graph for this device" (1 Viewer)

Hello. I've decided to help on the release of 0.2 final. Well, I just downloaded RC4 and when I try to add my tuner, it displays and all in the options but in MYTV when I get the error "Unable to create graph for this device" I get the same error when I try to edit the card in options.

The card is a Pinnacle PCTV Internal, I'm not sure of the exact model, can someone please aid me in finding out how?

You cant install third party tools like windvr3....but this does not work for me.

In my opinion you have Pinnacle 110i PCTV or 50i PCTV. I have before same card 110i and same Unable to create graph for this device error. I have now Avermedia m150 this card this card work correcly.

solution-> buy HW MPEG card

Thanks. But I'm posting this so the Pinnacle is supported in 0.2 just as 0.1.3. If you look at the poles on the main page, you'll notice that alot of users still have software encoded cars so we still need support for it.

There is support for some Pinnacle cards atleast. There's a list in thew Wiki somewhere.

You need to have the software shipped with the card installed.

Install e.g. WinDVR3. You need a software encoder to make your card work. I guess your card is a bit older, so it didn't come with one.

Thanks for the help. I've tried the standard CD drivers and WinDVD and I have still had no luck. Is there anything else I could do?

Its WinDVR not WinDVD. WinDVD doesnt come with the encoders you need.

I got it working but the syncing is horrible. I guess I'll have to go for another PVR app or buy a new card. Thanks anyway.

I have the same problem and i have installed the programm from pinnacle PCTV. I have installed Pinnacle 200E too with pinnacle media center.

How can i get that pi Miro PCTV work?
