Good news! i have got it working! digital and analog is now fully working in mp. right here is what i did: (you can pay me later hehe) 1)unistall your original dtv player from twinhan. 2)uninstall mp 2.3 rc1 don't delet the mp folder in program files. 3)uninstall tvengine 3 if u have it and the mp plugin in control panel add/remove programs. 4)reinstall mp 2.3rc1 don't even look at capturecarddefinitions. 5)use the disk that comes with the 3056 to install your dtv software/drivers 6)run mp setup click television - capture cards (with me digital card was already there) - click add, it found the analog card and alwoed me to autotune, do it then reboot. 7)after reboot, open capturecarddefinitions in note pad and search for the analog card, it might already be there, if not use this: <capturecard commercialname="Excel 3056 Hybrid Analog Capture (based on Twinhan)" capturename="3056 BDA Analog Capture" devid="ven_1131&dev_7133&subsys_00221822&rev_d1"> <capabilities tv="true" radio="true" mpeg2="true" mce="true" sw="false" bda="false"/> <tv> <interface cat="mux" video="" audio="" mpeg2="0"/> <filters> <filter cat="tvtuner" name="3056 BDA Analog Tv Tuner" checkdevice="true"/> <filter cat="tvaudio" name="3056 BDA Analog TV Audio" checkdevice="true"/> <filter cat="crossbar" name="3056 BDA Analog Xbar" checkdevice="true"/> <filter cat="capture" name="3056 BDA Analog Capture" checkdevice="true"/> <filter cat="videncoder" name="CyberLink MPEG Video Encoder(Twinhan)" checkdevice="false"/> <filter cat="audencoder" name="Cyberlink Audio Encoder(Twinhan)" checkdevice="false"/> <filter cat="mux" name="CyberLink MPEG Muxer" checkdevice="false"/> </filters> <connections> <connection sourcefilter="tvtuner" sourcepin="0" sinkfilter="crossbar" sinkpin="%tvtuner%"/> <connection sourcefilter="tvtuner" sourcepin="1" sinkfilter="tvaudio" sinkpin="0"/> <connection sourcefilter="tvaudio" sourcepin="0" sinkfilter="crossbar" sinkpin="%audiotuner%"/> <connection sourcefilter="crossbar" sourcepin="0" sinkfilter="capture" sinkpin="0"/> <connection sourcefilter="crossbar" sourcepin="1" sinkfilter="capture" sinkpin="1"/> <connection sourcefilter="capture" sourcepin="0" sinkfilter="videncoder" sinkpin="0"/> <connection sourcefilter="capture" sourcepin="2" sinkfilter="audencoder" sinkpin="0"/> <connection sourcefilter="videncoder" sourcepin="0" sinkfilter="mux" sinkpin="0"/> <connection sourcefilter="audencoder" sourcepin="0" sinkfilter="mux" sinkpin="1"/> </connections> </tv> </capturecard> 8) if you see any referance to the digital card delete it and the reboot. 9)go back to capturecarddefinitions and add this: <capturecard commercialname="Excel 3056 Hybrid Digital Capture (based on Twinhan)" capturename="3056 BDA Digital Capture" devid="ven_1131&dev_7133&subsys_00221822&rev_d1"> <capabilities tv="true" radio="false" mpeg2="true" mce="false" sw="false" bda="true"/> <tv> <interface cat="capture" video="2" audio="3" mpeg2="1" sectionsandtables="5"/> <filters> <filter cat="networkprovider" name="Microsoft DVBT Network Provider" checkdevice="false"/> <filter cat="tunerdevice" name="3056 BDA DVBT Tuner" checkdevice="true"/> <filter cat="capture" name="3056 BDA Digital Capture" checkdevice="true"/> </filters> <connections> <connection sourcefilter="networkprovider" sourcepin="0" sinkfilter="tunerdevice" sinkpin="0"/> <connection sourcefilter="tunerdevice" sourcepin="0" sinkfilter="capture" sinkpin="0"/> </connections> </tv> </capturecard> 10)save all changes to the file then reboot! i now have both analog and digital fully working even the FM tuner is allowing autotune and playing in the main MP. However the clock in my windows taskbar has gone a little odd its now 6hrs fast and wont save the normal time?! Let me know how you get on with this buddy, and what ever you do, don't uninstall the twinhan dtv software after you get it working in mp. i'm about to have a look at graphedit to see if the filter issue i raised yesterday has been resolved, or even if it has an impact on the situation at all. Best of luck!
