You can also check that the required filter is registered correctly by navigating to the following registry branch:

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{17CCA71B-ECD7-11D0-B908-00A0C9223196}\InprocServer32

If any part of the path is missing then you've got issues, the nearer the start the greater the issue and possibly a miracle but anyways, that is the important path to the information that I'm assume to be missing, invalid or corrupt.

And once then confirm that they have a ksproxy.ax and take note of its version number, if it is there you may wish to do a:

regsvr32 %systemroot%\system32\ksproxy.ax

And then try once more, the relevant code was added the day prior to the RC being built.

For reference, my version number is 5.3.2600.2180.

Same version here. With MP workink ok with the old DLL.
A look with my com explorer tools: thisksproxy is well registered with no mistakes.
Anyway, i register it again, as you ask.
Mp is working with old dll. Not working with the new one, as expecteded.
Is there is big changes in the DLL, as they have exactly the same size ?
