    Hi
This is my first thread, I'm new at this forum and have just installed my first MP and over all it works just great! I love this product!

    First question:
Is it possible to control the audio output in a way that for live TV the HDMI, connected to the TV, is used but for my DVD:s the S/PDIF TOSLINK, that's connected to my amplifier, is used?

    Second question:
I can't control the audio volume from my HTPC remote (Imon), instead I have to control it from the TV:s remote. Is there a way to control the TV:s volume from within the HTPC using the Imon remote?

EDIT: Just figured it out, just had to adjust the settings in iMon.

    Third question:
My TV setup consists of approx. 30 channels. Some of the channels takes approx 8-15 seconds to change to and the rest takes just two or perhaps three seconds. Why is that?

    Thanks!

    Hello and welcome! :)

In MediaPortal config you can change codecs and your Audio Renderer (HDMI, SPDIF) for Video, TV & DVD.
    For more info see: http://wiki.team-mediaportal.com/1_...diaPortal_Configuration/9_Codecs_and_Renderer

If this somehow won't work you can try the Audio Renderer Changer plugin: https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/threads/audio-renderer-changer.82337/
With this plugin you should be able to change your audio renderer on the fly via remote shortcut.
Detailed explanation of this plugin you find here: http://wiki.team-mediaportal.com/1_...nsions/3_Plugins/ARC_-_Audio_Renderer_Changer

    Second question:

Which version of MP are you using? With MediaPortal 1.3.0 Alpha this should work out of the box. With MP 1.2.3 there is a patch available: https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/attachments/mp_1-2-3-rar.103030/
Download this .rar file and replace the files in your MP folder with the ones from the .rar file.

Set your volume settings in Mediaportal config like this:
    master_volume_setting-jpg.110405

    Third question:

Have you disabled IPv6 in your network settings? Are the channels scrambled? Without log files it is hard to tell whats going on here. How to create proper logfiles you will find here: http://wiki.team-mediaportal.com/1_MEDIAPORTAL_1/16_Support/3_Forums/2_Log_Files

Attached your .zip file with logs here so that our experts @mm1352000 & @Owlsroost could have a look at it.

    Thanks!
If anything is not clear please ask! =)

PS: I hope you are using Win7?! :)

Works just fine after your instructions! Now I can get the audio the way I want. Great!

Set your volume settings in Mediaportal config like this:

Figured this out, it was because of incomplete settings in the iMon config. Fixed!

    Hello

The long delay with TV 3 is because TV Server first tries to use tuner 3 which does not have a CI configured, and then has problems tuning with tuner 2 as well.

You can reduce the delay by reducing the "PMT" setting here:
    http://wiki.team-mediaportal.com/1_...n/TV-Server_Configuration/06_General#Scan_Tab

...and also reduce the "wait for timeshifting file" and "wait for unscrambled signal" here:
    http://wiki.team-mediaportal.com/1_...ation/TV-Server_Configuration/08_Timeshifting

For PMT, a safe setting is usually around 3 seconds.
For the other two settings, it depends on your CAM but maybe as low as 5 seconds.

Since tuner 3 is not configured [in DD config] to have access to your CAM, I suggest that you disable the CAM for that tuner in TV Server:
    http://wiki.team-mediaportal.com/1_...nfiguration/02_TV_Servers#Edit_Tuner_Settings

This will tell TV Server to only use the tuner that has a CAM for the scrambled channels.

    Thanks for your reply!
My TV-card only have two tuners so it's a little bit strange that TV Server tries to use tuner 3. Or is it the IPTV that it tries to use? I have disabled the IPTV.

I enclose a new log file and some pictures of my settings, all made after your suggestions.

    Thanks for helping me out.

Please check the "id" column in the tuner list. Your Cine tuners have id values 2 and 3. The one that has id = 3 is the one that I was talking about. I am suggesting that you disable the CAM for that tuner. The other settings that you showed are okay. :)

Well, it seems to be something wrong with channel TV 3. Every time i select it, it crashes MP. All other channels works just great now.

If you can suggest something to solve the "TV 3 problem" it would be great, otherwise thanks for making my TV world much better.

    You're right.
In the latest log files TV Server tunes TV 3 fine, but MP crashes.
The issue is the teletext decoder.
I think I may have provided a patch for this:
    http://mantis.team-mediaportal.com/view.php?id=3786

I suggest you try the patch from here:
    https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/...s-mediaportal-crash.103475/page-2#post-827713

    Install instructions are here:
    https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/...s-makes-mediaportal-crash.103475/#post-827690

Basically just close MP and replace the DLL. Remember to take a backup of the original DLL.
