Unable to add channels for the cable analog signal, please help!!! (1 Viewer)

Yesterday I have installed the MediaPortal / TV-Server 1.0 RC2 on my Windows XP(SP3) machine.
I have an AverMedia A827 USB Hybrid DVB-T card.
The TV-Server detected myTV-Card automatically.
For the digital signal I was able to add channels(by adding the frequences for Romania in the dvbt.xml file), but when I tried to add channels for the cable analog signal it didn't work.

I would appreciate any suggestions to resolve this.



P.S. The cable and the tuner is working fine (I have tested it with another software).

check your error logs to see if it shows "unable to add tv audio tuner filter" that's the problem i seem to be having.

When you say cable are you talking about a signal from a set top box as you would have to add each channel individually...

I don't have any set top box.
Media portal's scanning function doesn't work only for the analog card . I have tried to add the channels manually but still it does not work.
I have also noticed that the led on my tune is not lit when scanning for analog channels (when I scan for digital signal the led on my tuner is lighted).

The digital signal is from an indoor high gain antenna, and the analog signal from a CATV provider.

Wow I have the same problem with this tuner!
I think that it's error in building graph!
But how is resolving this problem ?????????????

May be edit capturecardsdefinitions.xml ?
