unable to create graph for KNC 1 DVB-C (1 Viewer)

Hi there,

I´ve recently decided to by the almost only supported DVB-C card available, the KNC ONE DVB-C.
After several changes and the proposed reconfiguration and usage of the terratec cinergy dvb-c driver I´ve managed to get the card recognized in the MP config tool, but now there is only the error message...
"unable to create graph for this device"
remaining.
It seems that I have a "brand new revision" of this card, as the device identifier is slightly changed compared to the one published in the other support forum entry yesterday.

Anyway, a similar problem occurs when I want to run a new config with the Graphedit tool. Before inserting the "Cinergy ... Tuner (BDA)" filter it says
"Filter could not be created, the device may be already in use...

Seems to be a driver problem?

Does somebadoy has the "old" Terratec driver 4.8.16 ,which has been reported to run stable?

Dear Developers,
same Problem here.
MY System:
OS: Win XP Home SP2
Patches: All MS Patches, Media Player11, BDA Patch
CPU: Celeron 3,06
RAM : 512 MB
MoBo: Asrock Dual VSTA
MoBo Chipset: VIA
Graphic Adapter: ATI 9600 XT
Media Portal: Stable 0.2.2.0
TV Adapter: KNC1 DVB-C (Brand new release)
Drivers used 4 the TV Adapter: Terratec 1200 DVB-C Ver. 4.8.16 and tried also the 4.8.17

KNC1 has released new DVB-C Cards and changed in the Hardware Device Properties the usual identifier 00211894 to now 00221894.
Now, what we do in the Past. We went to the CaptureCardsDefinition.xml, search for the Terratec 1200 DVB-C entry and changed the number.
This is OK, the Card get recognized from Media Portal, but at the 1st Setup at Autoscan Windows crashes an the Program get kicked.
Have tried the Modified Original KNC1 BDA Drivers, the Terratec 1200 DVB-C Version 4.8.16 and 4.8.17 Drivers, it dont get better.
If u go to GraphEdit Tool u cant add the Tuner cause its exlusively locked by the System.
I am sure that these Problems will come from now to the future from other Users too, because KNC1 has changed hist card identify number, so it will be a hot theme in the future, please help to solve this, dnt know what to do else.
At this Post I add my Configuration.Log after the crash of Media Portal, hope some of the developers can identify the problem, else PN me if u want more informations or more Log's.

mysystem:

Athlon 2400 XP

MSI KT 880 Delte

1 GB Ram

160 GB HD

Windows XP SP2

MP 2.2.0

i have exactly the same problems like Al and NicoN. By using orignal KNC one driver MP doesnt find a TV Card. Using Terratec Driver and chaning the tvCaptureCard.xml MP finds the card but isnt able to create graph for it.

Graph edit: "capture filter may already be in use"

i hope someone out there will find a solution cause the card seems to work really great with original software. but not in MP :-(((

ach ja noch was: Nico sag mal woher hast du denn nen KNC BDA Treiber? Hab auf der homepage geschaut.....aber die BDA Treiber die ich gefunden hab sind nur für DVB-T und DVR Stations.

Hello out there,

me too - I have exact the same problem, like Al, Andreas and Nico.
MP 0.2.2. XP Pro - ECS MB, 512 MB, FX5200, 250GB HD.
Neither the KNC with the new HW Rev. works, nor the Cinergy 1200 DVB-C. The Cinergy need 2xreinit before TV works.

@ Andreas: Die KNC BDA Treiber gabs vor 2 Wochen mal auf HP von KNC zum download. Mittlerweile sind sie nicht mehr vorhanden. Vielleicht haben sie gemerkt, daß die Treiber Müll sind... ;-)

Hey developers and supporters,
I know, MP is freeware and open source, but can someone at least post some reply, there are MASSIVE Problems with the new Revision of KNC1 DVB-C Cards and there sure will be more in the future.
Please , send at least some Reply that u have recognized our Posts.
The Terratec Drivers dont work anymore and KNC1'S BDA Driver cant be used within the MP Software.
Also the Editing of the CaptureCardsDef...xml brings no solution to the Problem.
Plz. Help us.
