I've setup Media portal without TV server. I want it to work with my Twinhan DVB-S card. I installed the BDA driver for the tuner. Everytime I go to Television>Capture Cards section in the configuration program I get to message saying "Unable to create graph for this device". I have got this card to work with DVBDream and MT but I would like a more advanced/nicer program. Now I know that "Graph" errors are usually to do with decoders and renderers from my experience with DD and MT but I don't know where to start here. In the DScaler Video decoder no drop downs are filled in. Is this the problem?

The newer TWINHAN or badge engineered twinhan cards don't have details in the standard MP xml file so you will get an error when trying to add them.

The Tvserver should work fine as it has an intelligent graph build routine.

For the standard MP you will need to inspect the filters specific to your card and build a suitable working graph, from there you can then write a graph construct to be added to the MP xml file.

Upload deatils of the filters and a screen capture of the working graph then a dev can build the graph construct for the xml if you can't.

OK thanks. So I should upgrade to media server. I just download the latest svn too? Does this make it unstable is there a way of knowing if there are stable svn's and tv servers?

Can anyone help me make a graph for MediaPortal. I have it working with TV Server but find that with TVService and SQL running all the time it is slowing my computer that isn't the fastest in the world. I would like to use my twinhan 1020a with the normal mediacenter.
