Relatively extreme noob, so please be patient and I apologise for any errors: Area: Media Portal Program MP Version: V0.2 RC4 Skin: BlueTwo Windows Version: XP Pro SP2 CPU Type: AMD Sempron 1.8 Ghz Memory: 512Mb DDR Motherboard Chipset: MSI Mainboard MS-7181 Video Card: GeForce4 MX440 Video Card Driver: Latest Nvidia (V 84.21) Video Card Resolution: 1024x768 Video Render Type: VMR9 or Overlay Video Codec Type & Version: video codec you used for testing Audio Codec Type & Version: audio codec you used for testing TV Card: Leadtek Winfast DTV1000 T TV Card Type: DTV TV Card Driver: default drivers Optional Log: n/a Optional References: n/a Location: Brisbane, Australia. Synopsis: Simply put - Media Portal is just unable to recognise Ch9's and SBS's digital channels. Perplexing, because the bundled software that came with my card (Winfast DTV) picks up them absolutely pristinely. According to the info I have, Ch9 should be detected @ 191500Khz, and SBS @ 585500Khz. The program seems to skip straight past these frequencies as though they were empty - which, as my Winfast DTV reception clearly indicates, they are not. Any advice on how to get the channels recognised? If further information is needed, please give a simple to understand idea of how I need to obtain it. Profuse thanks in advance.
