Hi,

Thanks for the note - I didn't know that and will try it.

Graham

Hi All,

Just to be a bit more specific ..... it's the main menu I don't seem to be able to get back to so the exit icon comes up.

Any help appreciated.

You can define a new action in MP configuration in section "Keys an Sounds". I think it's called like "Action_Exit" or something similar. There you can define a key for it, so you're able to exit MP from every screen.

Alt-F4 works to close a current program in windows.

I agree with both inputs, but it still does not explain the disappearing icon.

gperkinson - are you able to reproduce always or still not?
If you can, please post full steps.

    Hi Guys,

Thanks for the replies - much appreciated. Sorry for not getting back earlier - been on holiday and just got back :p
Also had a third hard disk failure in the year I have owned my PC, so I had that to deal with just before leaving as well - now have all Western Digital (used to be Seagate)

Anyhow, I was trying some other buttons to see if I could get back from the My TV menu to the Main Menu and seemed to get there using the big green button on my MCE Remote. This has only happened since moving from Version 1.0.0.0 to 1.0.2.0. Great to find a solution.

Not sure if you guys are on version 1.0.2.0 with a MCE remote and found the same issue?

I will also look at the options you have both put forward as well.

    Cheers

    Graham

I had this problem after a fresh Vista install and none of the navigation buttons at the top would show up. It was because the plugin called "Topbar" was not activated.
