Unable to open the deploy tool with Win 7 (1 Viewer)

Hi there,

I'd love to be able to use MediaPortal as TVCenter which comes with my DVB-T2 tv stick is rubbish, yet when I attempt to install the deploy tool, Win 7 refuses to open the software.

I use Windows 7 64bit and I believe I have all the current codecs required.

Below this is what I got after Windows attemped to open the deploy tool.

It sounds like you may be doing something more complicated than necessary. If you want to install MediaPortal, just download and run the installer from here:

That's exactly what I did the first time round.

sounds like your .net installation may have gone wrong or download for corrupted? Have you retired downloading?

I downloaded .NET 4.5 to make sure which installed fine. Tried the install again and still didn't open.

MP needs .NET3.5 as far as I know?
