After weeks of fussing with MP I'm down to only one glaring problem (though I'm sure that I'll create more soon!).</p><p></p><p>When trying to play an mpeg2 .ts stream in Media Portal using the 2/20/2008 SVN build, the screen will pause for a second (Like it does when you try to play an h.264 .mkv file without the proper splitter/codec installed) and then I am "returned" to the menu I was just on. With a clean install of Media Portal, this does not happen, and my stream plays fine with hdtvpump installed. I address this problem as being in the 2/20/2008 build, however it's more than likely that it started with an earlier build. I haven't the time to test every one to see when this feature breaks. I have duplicated the bug on both my laptop, and my htpc, which have very different hardware/software configurations, and since it used to work, but doesn't as soon as the SVN is installed, I'm fairly sure the fault lies with MediaPortal.</p><p></p><p>PS: The test file that I'm using is available from the DVB Portal website at the following address:</p><p><a href="http://dvbportal.dyn1.de/get.php?file=hilary.zip" target="_blank">http://dvbportal.dyn1.de/get.php?file=hilary.zip</a></p></blockquote><p></p>
