"Unable to play the selected trailer" (1 Viewer)

Hi there,

For the last couple of days now, I am unable to watch any trailers. Each time (after choosing the size), I receive the error "Unable to play the selected trailer. Please try again later".

Is this a problem on my end? What can I do?

a (debug) mediaportal.log would be helpful. Did you install codecs or movie playback software recently?

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. I checked the logs and figured out, that MP tried to start the audioplayer for the .mov files from apple.com. I reinstalled the Haali splitter, which did the trick for me here.

Keep on going with this.
