After my first installation of Media portal (two days ago) I started the TV server.
On the first occasion I had the option to scan for TV channels (in the first setting tab). After the scan I got about 10 or so channels but they were named "CVBS#1 on 2" and some "RGB on 2" (cant remember the names for the RGB ones.
After that I started Media portal and everytime I would go to TV it gave an error about "CVBS#1 on 2"
Last night I started the TV server again and cleared all these channels.
Now I cant find the settings to rescan. Is there any way I can run another channel scan.
The second problem is that I uninstalled the drivers for my HVR1100 hybrid TV tuner card. After reinstalling the drivers now I see two additional unknown tuners in my TV server.
earlier I only saw the DVB-T, Analogue and Radio tuner. Now I see these 3 plus 2 unknown tuners. I have tried removing those but they always reappear.
I was trying to get Linux MCE to work on my PC and was told that media portal is a better and easier option however so far I have had no luck which makes me wonder if its that simple.
