Indeed - had the same idea that it could just be the tool failing and this leads to a wrong assumption.I installed MySQL by myself and I couldn't execute the query, but that was in the MySQL tool itself not via the installer. One would think that there shouldn't be a difference. Another thing to check when I get home.
I guess that more than 90% of our users have this MySQl version installed because I can only remember changing the MySQL version to download and install once.
That was before the 1.1.0 final release.
