The video I was playing is only ~8Mb/s however it wouldn't play smoothly on my old system where as Blue Earth (720p) would play fine and thats ~24Mb/sI think the deciding factor was the vid I was decoding (Shrek) was a CGI file which compress very very well. Its only 4gig for a 1080p file where normal files are 10+ gig. So im assuming that because the CGI files compress so well they also put allot of pressure on the system when they are being decoded?
