Hi again,
now i have chage the DB.
But now i have the problem, that mediaportal cant connect to the Server.
I use the SVN from today.

TV Server configuration works very good ... connection is possible.
The logs are empty, have i do something wrong?

Any ideas?

Anyone still had it working? Mine was working fine and when I went to check again today, the chinese characters all turned into ????. I had to drop the tables and redo the settings again.

Anyway I want to check if anyone had problems with unicode recorded TV files. I can only record programs with english filename, the ones with unicode characters cannot be recorded (ie only the unicode XML files are outputted, but the MPEG file is not recorded).

After change of the coding database Russian and Polish symbols are normally displayed and processed.

I also have an issue with displaying Greek chars with the WebEPG!

How do you change the charset coding of the MS SQL database without re-installing it?
Is it a configuration or a drop+create from scratch all tables?

Could you please provide the necessary commands and steps?

In case the only solution is to reinstall the db, how this can be done i.e. uninstall and reinstall only the MS SQL database?
