Cant wait for the 1.1 Alpha mod.

Unlikely to happen, I tend to only mod the system I end up running.

There is a slight change that the mod will be incorporated into the base 1.1 system, but this all depends on whether I have time to provide the changes

If you did have time to submit the patch for 1.1 that would be great as i know more and more people are using 1.1 for win7 compatability.

Please find time to integrate this change so the options are Home, Basic Home or both. This cannot be too difficult to include but overcoming not having these options is very difficult when trying to automate things to keep the wife happy. While it looks like there is patch for 1.0.2, he has no plans to crate a patch for 1.1 until he moves to that release (and seems not overly rushed to migrate).

There are quite a few of us that would really appreciate this.

UPDATE: - This mod solved my problem perfectly - many thanks to revs. Please make the mod for 1.1 if the developers do not find time to implement this into the next release.

FYI I'll probably be using Disasters MediaPortal release from now on, which has the Basic Home options. So anyone else wanting the option to turn off the basic home/home should probably use his release too (if there is huge demand, then I could have my mind changed)

Anyone is free to use disaster123's release, but remember that this, any any other unofficial release, is NOT supported by Team MediaPortal.

IOW: Do NOT start a bug report or request support from the team.
