have you chekced the wiki MediaPortal/Configuration/Movies/Database - MediaPortal Wiki DocumentationAt the editor tab you can manually add movies there but this can be time consuming.The way I do it is I change my view to share and then select each movie and then right click to bring up the on screen menu and select IMDB (or press F3 on keyboard). This will then scan that individual movie and if there are conflicts, before it downloads you can select the correct one. Again a bit time consuming but you have will have better control of what movie goes into the DB.
