Updating MP to most recent version (1 Viewer)

I am currently using MP V1 RC4, I have been using MP since RC2, and seeing as i have a large (in my opinion) database of movies, etc loaded, how can I back up my database before updating to the most recent version so i do not have to re-add everything for the third time? I love MP, and am very hppy with the program as a whole, but am slightly irritated at adding the information again. I remember seeing something somewhere back when i first started playing with MP and how to back up databases for using the SVN builds, but have been unable to find what i need. Is all i have to back up the "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Team MediaPortal" folder and its contents and recover it when i install the next version? or will this not work?

XP = C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Appdata\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal

Vista = C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal

I think you can safely restore the videodatabase\musicdatabase\Picturesdatabse and your thumbs folder, all found in the above locations depending on your OS, any others I would strongly suggest redoing, especially the folderdatabase may cause error on a new setup.
