How can I upgrade to MP 1.0 without loosing any of my preferences , databases , setting etc. which I have it with 0.2.3.0 installation today.

    I would also like to point out that the "UpdateingMediaPortal - MediaPortal Wiki Documentation" is not very thorough. In particular, it does not tell you that the locations for much of the user data have changed (to C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Team Media Portal\...). It also does not tell you how to maintain your TV settings (channels, groups, WebEPG data, etc.).

    I installed 1.0 with TV Server since it was recommended, not realizing I would have to do a major install of SQL Server (which I don't want). When I uninstalled and tried to reinstall with the internal TV Engine it would not install MediaPortal at all. It said it did, but there was nothing installed! (I will report this in a separate post).

    My point is I really think that when a new version is released there needs to be installation instructions (including upgrading) included in the release.
