USB X10 remote control (1 Viewer)

Hello,

I´ve bought a X10 remote control. The reciver is connect via usb to the pc, and the communication between the remote control and the reciever works with radio.

When I connect the reciever to the pc, than windows detects the reciever and installs it. But thats it.

I can´t get the remote control to work. There is no reaction of any key that I press on the remote control.

Does anyone else have the x10 connected via usb to the pc an it is working?

I really don´t know any solutions to this problem.

Please search the forum before posting! This remote doesn't work out of the box with MP, but there are lots of threads describing how to install it.

Okay, thank you very much.

Now I only need the gml file that is named in the thread.
But the download links in the thread for the gml file are all broken.

Do you have it for me? Or do you know someone that has it?

Hi,

you don't even need Girder, there is a "Inputdevicemapper" plugin available which has a "X10" plugin (both available through the forums) for using the remote in MP without Girder...

I know the Inputdevicemapper, but it seems that it is noch working with the usb version of the x10. If I try to learn a command, I have to press the button on the remote. When I do that, nothing happens.
Instead of grider, here the remote works.

So, is the a solution to get the usb x10 working with the inputdevice mapper or does anyone have the named file above?
