i'm planning to build up a new htpc based on media portal. i think i will use a nvidia gt430 intel core i3 2100T a little ssd for the system and one or more 3tb drives as storage.
this will be my firsz htpc. right now i'm using a WD HD TV (first generation) but i'm not really statisfied with this.
but all in all i know what i have to do, but there is one question left: the remote control
i have a lot of technical stuff here. also i have a motorola xoom. (mostly used as a mobile wifi router for my laptop
)
my plan now ist to use the xoom as a remote control.
I see there 2 ways to realize it:
1.) a Android app. is there already one available?
2.) VNC, RDP or something similar, to get the video output to the xoom.
what should be the best solution for this?
