I can't seem to get my Harmony One to work in MP.

I have:

- Silverstone LC20B-M case which has a SoundGraph IR Receiver
- Logitech Harmony One Remote control
- The "SG Remote Control Device" Driver installed
- MP final 1.0.0.0 with indigo skin
- I do NOT have imon installed (nor do I want to cuz it's crap that comes with all kinds of overhead I dont want)

I've tried to add the silverstone as a device to the harmony one.
I've tried to add mediaportal as a device to harmony one.
I've tried to add mediacenter pc as a device to harmony one.
I've tried setting the control to use in MP config to "MCE Remote".

Nothing seems to work. I does not response to any navigational thing I want to do with the remote.

What do I need to do to get this to work properly? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

That thread only discusses how to get imon to work with mediaportal. I've done that before with the original remote but that's not really what I want to do.

I want to:

- be able to use the IR Sens in the silverstone case to respond to the harmony one
- set mediaportal to use MCE remote
- configure harmony one to be an MCE remote

I don't know if that's even possible though. Is IR Server Suite the way to go here?

Thx for your quick response though :D

I have a Harmony One as well and the instructions in that thread work. I believe the only thing I had to do specifically for the Harmony was to add a new "Computer\Media Center PC" device which I called "Media PC" and tell the Harmony that it was a "Soundgraph iMon Pad Remote Controller". Can't remember the steps anymore, but it is there somewhere.

Woot!

You are absolutely right!

I was trying to do this without the imon software (cuz I think that software is pretty crap), but you simply need it as a bridge.

I've set the harmony one up as a imon pad remote controller now as well and it works like a charm. Had to tweak a few settings and re-arrange the escape buttons to fit my needs but now it works perfectly!

Thx!
