I'm using a single computer as my HTPC and desktop PC. I'm using two sound cards, so someone can be listening to music or something on the PC, while someone else is watching a movie.
I figured out in MediaPortal I can set each function (TV, video, music, etc) to route sound to the second sound card. This works, only problem is the menu sounds are still sent to the main sound card. Sure, I could disable them, but I kind of like the audio feedback. Is there any way to globally change the audio renderer so that everything, including menu sounds, are routed to the second card?
BTW, thanks to MediaPortal and nvidia's awesome dual monitor support, it's almost impossible to tell the home theater frontend is actually powered by that lowly desktop PC in the corner. Nothing like killing two birds with one stone!
Thanks
