This is not a major problem but when I watch movies (avi with AC3 sound) I sometimes watch in the bedroom where I do not have a receiver with dolby digital decoder and sometimes in living room where I have the dolby digital receiver. What I want is to use different codecs depending on what equipment I have in different roomts.</p><p></p><p>For DVD movies this works excellent. I have Dscaler codec for S/PDIF passthrough and MPA for internal AC3 decoder.
