Over in the htpc section of avsforum there is a pretty lengthy guide on using ffdshow to upscale SD content. This was written with the intention of using MPC-HC as the media player.
Can the same be done with MP? Along the same lines, is it necessary? MY SD content is of varying quality (part of the reason why I'm in the process of re-ripping it all), so I'm having difficulty figuring out what configuration is actually giving me a boost in video quality. Just wondering if there is a general line of thought on this.
