That is, the sound is equal from all speakers rather than centred, louder at the front etc. From playing around with graphedit, i noticed that these particular avis use the avi splitter to divide into audio and video streams and then the audio stream goes directly to directsound. If i insert the ffdshow audio processor between the splitter and directound and then configure the ffdshow audio processor correctly i can get the sound output i'm after. </p><p></p><p>The difficulty that i'm looking for advice on is how to make this graph i've now built the default for these files. If i save the graph it does not get used when i subsequently open the files with MP or WMP.
