Can this be done?

Channel Master CM-9521A is a complete TV Antenna rotor system which includes the antenna rotator motor unit, antenna rotator remote control and the antenna rotator controller unit. Get the best antenna rotor from Channel Master.

I want to control this so that If there is a scheduled recording the antenna moves to the correct position, or if I select a channel on the guide, it moves to get the best reception.

I would assume that I would use the IR blasters on the MCE remote reciever - does this still work in Windows 7?

I still don't see how that I get channels on the TV card to not only tune on the TV Card but also blast to the channel master
Example if I select ATSC channel 4-1 I need the blaster to output 321 (the compass direction of that channel)
From the wiki it seems that the plugin is just designed to tune an external stb.

I am attempting to do the same thing now. Did you have any luck?

The way I see it

1. There would need to be a relation between the channel (or channel group) and what you want to blast.
2. I need to find a trigger event when the tuner changes channels.
3. Thew trigger would lookup to the relation and blast the code for the antenna direction.

Seems simple but I'm stuck on 1. Just started looking into this though.

I did some custom scripting to the the full EPG. Might have to do that again as IRSS has some command line utilities I could take advantage of.
