Using "Recorded TV" menu while recording in progress (1 Viewer)

Before posting this in the "Get Support" forum or submit it as a bug I first want to check if this can be reproduced by other people too. Following scenario.
I have a TV program scheduled for recording, and that kicks in nicely and exactly as it should. Then once the recording is in progress I go to the "Recorded TV" menu and see the recording listed there already, so I just click on it and MP is so nice to ask me if I want to start watching from beginning or from the live point and I choose "beginning". I watch the entire program (which stops recording, as it should, before I am done watching it; I am "behind" after all), and then get back to the "Recorded TV" menu where sometimes the red recording dot is still displayed. This can be "fixed" by simply stepping out of that menu and back in again. But also the duration of the recording I just watched is now 0:00. As long as I don't watch a recording in progress in this way, the duration is always correct.
Sure, I can go into the database and change it there, but I still think this shouldn't happen.

Aha !! - that's how that happens

Yes, I have certain recordings that show duration of 0:00, but I'd never quite figured out how it happens. I'll do some tests as soon as I can and get back to you.

Yes, I've seen this as well with TV Server.

That's my setup too. Single seat installation of TV Server (RC3) with MySQL database.

Haven't mentioned this before but this always happens with programs of which I have multiple recordings, so that they are presented in a folder. If I go into the folder while a recording is in progress, not only does the current program get its length set to zero, the previous recording (which is usually a week old) also shows a recording dot and is set to zero length / duration.

Still hoping someone can look into this.

Time to dig up something old. This problem with any TV recording having its duration set to zero still exists in MP 1.02 (single-seat configuration in my case).
Reproduction is simple; schedule a recording, the go to the "list of all tv recordings before it's done recording and you'll see the duration set to zero, which is never updated, not even when the recording finishes. In the database the end-time is set to the same value as the start time, so yes I can go in and fix it through SQL but that sort of defeats the whole purpose...
It's really a minor thing but still hope it can be picked by one of the devs somehow.
