Hey guys! I've played around with MediaPortal before, but am finally setting up my computer to run it. I have an Nvidia 8800GS running a 19" LCD as my primary and a 32" Samsung LCD as my secondary monitor. I'm running in dual view with the 19" at 1680x1050 and the 32" at 1360x768.

I wish to run MP on the Samsung but I'm having trouble doing this. Typically applications run on the primary monitor, and if moved over to the second monitor, will open up on that monitor next time it is run. I can't get MP to be windowed and I can't simply more it over to the second monitor.

I'm sure somehow has done this before and my search through the forums haven't been too helpful. Any help regarding this is much appreciated! I would just like to say, this is an awesome Media Center app!!!

Well, this is typically pretty simple. All you have to do is reverse the setup. Make your 32in monitor the primary, and your 19in secondary. This way, your apps. (including MP) will open on your 32 in. -- which is perfectly fine, because you can just drag all your windowed apps to the smaller monitor, or if you leave it on your 32in, you won't have a problem with burn-in since you've got an LCD.

To do this, just go into your display properties, click on the second monitor, and check the box labeled "This is my primary monitor" or "Make this display my primary monitor"

Cheers,
Nick
