I am used to using the MCE remote with MP, and I've had no problems with doing so...except that it's really big and clunky. And since I only use MP for photo portfolio display, which means I use only 6 buttons (up-down-left-right-esc-enter) I figured that I'd try the Apple Remote that come with my Macbook Pro (and on which I am using MP) instead. So far I have been able to intercept the left, right and play/pause buttons using AutoHotKey. But the up, down and menu buttons seem to be intercepted by the apple drivers used in bootcamp...autohotkey never even sees a record that those buttons have been pushed.
If anyone here has figured this out, or if you know of an equally small and simple remote, I'd love to hear about it.
